Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is intended to describe how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (referred to throughout this document as the “Site”). The data collection, usage, and removal practices detailed on this page are also intended to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), with specific details below.

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit, we automatically collect general information about your device, including information about your general location, time zone, web browser, IP address, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or product pages that you visit, how long you engage with those pages, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and other information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information,” which is gathered and used for analytics tracking purposes.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  •     “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  •     “Tracking pixels,” “web beacons,” and “tags,” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

*We only use this data for our own analytics tracking and website performance measurement purposes. We do not use this data for any sort of marketing, advertising, or media purposes.

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.

We refer to this information as “Order Information” and this information is only used to process, facilitate, and complete an order. Order Information is never repurposed for marketing, advertising, or media purposes.

In some cases, Order Information is gathered via email inquiries about our products, order processes, and other general questions or comments. Additionally, we can collect Order Information via phone calls and text messages.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including gathering details about your bike build, processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate order details and shipping arrangements with you;
  • Manage any returned orders; and
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

*We never use your Personal Information for any sort of marketing, advertising, or media purposes.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For example, we use Woocommerce to power our online store, which is the platform in which online Order Information is gathered. This information is used for order fulfillment and communication purposes only.

We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors and customers use the Site–you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here. You can also opt out of Google Analytics here.

Lastly, we may be required by law to share your Personal Information to comply with any applicable and enforceable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, to comply with a search warrant, or respond to other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
